Enjoy beachfront bars and restaurant with a vibrant friendly social scene, chill on your balcony with a drink and enjoy the multicolored birds, sunsets and sometime monkeys in the tree canopy. Enjoy free filtered water and prepare delicious drinks and meals in our shared kitchen with fresh local fruits, vegetables and groceries ordered from the best quality supplier in San Juan with free delivery!
Awake to Yoga on the Skydeck with cool breezes and luscious forest and ocean views. Take a beautiful 30 minute coastal hike to Tamarindo Beach for zero line-up soul surfing in the morning, hike 30 mins on to beautiful Hermosa beach, have lunch at their restaurant, surf Hermosa, then hike back through gorgeous sunsets to Casa Maya for drinks and dinner.
Most of our guests extend their stay, and many return. It's the perfect place to experience true peace, recharge and resume your travels refreshed!

After making your booking on HostelWorld, you will receive an email with payment instructions to complete your booking. Please complete these instructions in order to confirm your reservation. If this is not done within 48 hours of the email being sent, your reservation will cancel. Standard Rate Bookings require payment of a Partial Advanced Payment, with the balance due in cash (US$ or Cordoba) on arrival. Non-Refundable Rate Bookings require Full Advanced Payment.

Casa Maya is a hidden gem! Perfect for couples, budget travelers, surfers, and those wanting a get a break from the craziness of San Juan del Sur. Where can you find a private room & bathroom, only a 3-minute walk to the beach, for less than $25? By far, the best value in Remanzo. The sky deck has a view of the ocean and is surrounded by trees and nature, perfect for yoga. On the ground floor is the kitchen and sitting area. The Wi-Fi is between 5 to 10. The hosts, James & Faith are awesome!
