excellent location for train trips to Saxon national park friendly staff, good facilities. Liked the modern design. Would have been a bit uncomfortable sharing the single beds in dormitory, too close together.However bunks were fine with lights and chargers. A bit of a gamble which ones you get.

It’s kind of like a shared room in a hotel and doesn’t feel like a hostel. There’s not much of a social atmosphere because the place is huge. Very close to the station but a bit of a walk from the sights in Dresden. The property was so clean. The communal kitchen was great and there was often free bread/ croissants available for guests to take. Staff were friendly. We had a great stay here and would definitely be back.

I asked the receptionist to change my bed as I was literally next to another one, which is non sense to put 2 beds together and make 2 strangers sleep that way. She refused saying that the room was full which was not true. One day they charged me 11.90 for the breakfast and the next one 12.99 without a clear explanation. The staff is not friendly.
As is a hotel do it expect a hostel and young atmosphere.
Good location, next to the train station and 15 min walking to the city center
