The place offers a variety of bungalows with Free Wi-Fi. We have a beautiful shower outside with two bathrooms and a kitchen fully equipped.
We also have a parking if you come with your camper van.
Wake up with this Caribbean sea view is just priceless. We are located approximately at 20 mins walking Distance from the center of Mahahual, which means the place is quiet and peaceful. The reef is also well preserved. Grab your mask and scuba and go explore the house of many turtles, eagle rays and many fishes.
The Laguna Bacalar is about less than an hour driving from the hostel . You can visit one of the most beautiful side of Quintana Roo for a day trip.

We spent 2 nights and overall we had a good experience. It's very rustic and simple.
+ tent was comfortable for 2 people; very close to the lagoon in a very quiet area of Mahahual (good to have a bike or moto to get there because it's a bit far from the center); hammocks to relax
- no drinking water (but you can buy it next to it in a tienda where you can also get some snacks), small kitchen but no fridge and not inviting for cooking; host seemed desinterested (but was around for questions)

Read the reviews and you know what to expect. We liked it a lot! It’s a very nice place and it felt somehow a bit like camping, since you’re outside for cooking and showering.
A fridge would be awesome, but the store next door has fresh vegetables and fruits. Just keep in mind: no fridge at the moment (we could leave the milk at the owner’s fridge though).

Great little place right on the beach! Basic and rustic with a relaxed vibe.
If you want squeaky disinfected bathrooms & padlocked lockers - don't come here. If you love feeling at home, beach life, living side by side with Nature then you'll be happy here 😊 Warm friendly kind manager & owner - just ask if you need stuff. Mosquito nets for the beds & the sound of the Sea mean a blissful sleep. Help out with the dishes or a beach clean to get into the communal living vibe, Smile & enjoy!
