Right in the middle of a vast forest land and surrounded by coffee plantations; it's the perfect escape from city life. Boasting 8 spacious dorms & private rooms, each of them has a balcony that opens to a beautiful view of our private pond. The spacious hostel is covered with cool green shades and instantly soothes your soul. Love exchanging travel stories over a bonfire? Head over to our rustic fire pit area and hang out with other backpackers. Need some solace from all the activity? Take a walk around our private pond and watch the fireflies dance. And hey, it's a perfect spot to set up a picnic too!
Join the happy bunch at our cool rooftop cafe where you can enjoy everything from delicious dishes and fun board games to book talks and spectacular views. What's more? Ever heard of 'floating beds'? Yup, that's what makes the cafe here even more special. Get your daily dose of Vitamin D as the skydeck here brings in ample natural light. With a wall-mounted bookshelf and comfy seats, the little reading room on the first floor is the perfect place to catch up on your work.

The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Check-in - 13:00 to 23:00
Check out - 11:00
No curfew.
Specific policies may apply to different hostels under the brand at specific times of the year and the same shall be communicated at the time of check-in.
The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time before the arrival date for the reservation confirmation, in case the guest fails to make the prepayment the reservation is subject to cancellation.
Payment modes accepted at our hostels: Cash, Debit card, Credit card and UPIs.
Room charges are exclusive of taxes. Taxes not included, for a room below 7500 INR per night, there will be 12% taxes applied; for a room over 7500 INR per night, there will be an extra 18% taxes fee applied.
The guest can avail of an extra mattress at the time of check-in. Extra mattress is subject to availability.
In case the traveller arrives earlier than the check-in time, the guest can hang out in the common area/cafe until check-in time. (However, if the guests are arriving as early as 5:30-6 AM, it is highly recommended to book a bed for the previous night to ensure a good night's sleep).
Late check-out can be available on prior request and is subject to availability.
Travellers can keep the luggage, post check out, at the hostel's cloakroom, in case of late departure from respective cities.
We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people travelling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
We provide lockers in the dormitories only. Every bed has an attached locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. However, availing a padlock from the reception will be subject to availability and at an additional cost. It is advised that you carry a lock.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hostel or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the hostel, the hostel reserves the right to take action against the guest. Rest assured, proper investigations will be undertaken by the administration to ensure that the affair is dealt with in complete fairness.
Guests with local IDs are not allowed in this property.
All cancellations, if informed 7 days prior to the check-in date, shall be eligible for a 100% refund. In case cancellations happen within 7 days of the check-in date, there wouldn’t be ANY refund and will attract 100% cancellation charges. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
Non- Refundable bookings are not eligible for any refund in case of cancellation at any time.
If the guest wishes to extend their stay at any hostel then availing a reservation will be subject to availability.
The room would be provided at the ongoing rates on the website and not as per the rates at which the previous booking was made.
Hostel management shall not be held responsible for any loss of luggage or personal belongings. Guests shall make sure not to leave their belongings unattended at all times.
Cafe timings and availability differ from one location to another, the guests can refer our official website for the same.
Cafe operations are seasonal, the same can be confirmed with the hostel reception at the time of check-in.
The Hostellers Unbox café serves eggetarian as well as vegetarian options.
Meals aren’t included in the room tariff and it can be availed on a-la-carte basis at our in-house cafes.
To maintain the backpacking culture and community spirit we promote self service in all our cafes.
Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the dorms is strictly prohibited.
The guest shall be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hostels in case of drug abuse, non-adherence of guest and booking policies, misbehavior (Physical/mental/verbal or in any kind), theft, personal hygiene, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds.
Power backup is available only at selected locations and not at all The Hosteller properties.

Hostel is located around 10 kms from Midikeri. The ride till the hosteller are through winding roads. There are few spots which have no lights and potholes so it's a bit adventures to ride after sunset.
Hostel view and surrounding were beautiful. The hostel manager and the cafe manager were really good and made our stay comfortable. You'll get good North Indian veg/egg food. The crowd is a mix of group and couples so it takes some efforts if you are traveling solo. Overall an incredible exp.

The place is not that far from the city centre. But we need to go there before 5pm. Or else there are no proper road signs or lights in the route from city. Staff was very friendly. As the hostel was new the food was not that diverse. Cost was a bit high for the taste provided. Food was not Economy friendly for a travellers or hostellers. But the location and view are next to AMAZING. Suggestion:There are few leeches at the lake area. It would be better to provide first aid and inform new people

Need to improve wifi connectivity in dorms as then very difficult to do work from home here and it's only good then just for a vacation
