Owner is great and staff are paid not volunteers which makes them a lot better: perfect English and super knowledgeable and helpful about the surrounding area.
I didn't love the fact that you aren't allowed to consume outside alcohol there and the acolhol on premises was very expensive. Also, no kitchen, so no space to prepare your own cheap food.
Common room was small but the nicest I've seen in a hostel.
I'd come again for the location and the staff.

Toilets were awfully unclean.
No locks on the shower door - the door hardly closed.
Had to pay a deposit for a locker which didn’t even fit my bag (40L)
Beds were very noisy and felt unstable.
No plug sockets for top bunks so couldn’t charge my phone.
Wifi was hard to set-up
The door to the rooms didn’t have a lock and the door was always open
Staff didn’t re-enforce their own rules - saw many guests walking around half dressed
