A lively hostel with plenty of space for a good time and just a stone's throw away from downtown. The Galley Hostel offers detailed orientation to all the happenings and must see points in and around Shkoder.
The Galley Hostel is located 150 meters away from the bus station, and 350 meters from the historic downtown pedestrian street of Shkoder.
All of our rooms are equipped with lockers, comfortable beds, air conditioning, and an en suite bathroom. We have a large, shared use, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of seating outside in our spacious garden. We have covered areas inside and out in case of rainy days, and half a basketball court for those looking to shoot some hoops.
The Galley Hostel - Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash only.
Additional charge of the city tax by +1 euro per person per night
Breakfast not included.
General:
Reception hours 08:00 to 23:00.
No curfew.

It's close to the bus stop in Skodar (important to me), and the facilities were all right (nice big kitchen, ensuite bathroom in the dorm). It's a very friendly place, with great staff. I really felt at home. The people were easy to talk to. I do wish they'd put outlets up high on the walls in the dorms where a person could reach them from an upper bunk. It wasn't easy to set up my laptop, though I could've used the courtyard if the weather had been better.

Overall had a good experience staying in a private room with my friend! Can’t speak for the dorms tho. The hostel was still really social even in October at the ‘end of season’

My stay was fantastic - the room I stayed in had an en-suite, and both were sparkling. There were lockers with working locks in the room and free towels, cheap bike rentals. The manager was pretty cool, and the volunteers were super welcoming. I was there for Ross’s Irish Night, and Summer led some fantastic drinking games. I can’t recommend it enough.
