It’s a little walk from the main area of the town and the air conditioning had a smell of drains. Kitchen could have been cleaner and quiet hours weren’t enforced. However it was good value for money overall and secure. Has everything you need as a base for trips out.

Great Hostel for the quality/price ratio. The staff is super nice, they will help you around if you have questions about activities.
You can get lockers or towels for a small deposit.
Very clean.
A lot of space in the kitchen to use.

Great hostel in La Fortuna. Wasn’t much going on when I was there which was a shame. But I can imagine during peak season this would be a fantastic atmosphere. One bathroom between 8 people could be kind of annoying though
