Property Description
Our house is located on the river road Baru in Dominical, Costa Rica. This place is great for bird lovers!
We have a reception area where people can book tours, buy drinks and snacks.
We are located 500 meters past Villas Rio Mar. This is about a 5 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop in front of the Rum Bar in Dominical. Once you see the Cherepos bus stop.
Our hostel currently has 3 rooms available. We have lockers for our clients, fans, shared bathroom and shared kitchen. We have free WIFI and laundry service from 7am-3pm.
Outside is river view with hammocks and a table to work or eat at.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14.00 to 18.00
Check out before 11.00
Payment upon arrival by cash ,credit and debit card

The hostel is quite far out but the walk there is nice. The beds are comfortable and the people very nice. The only problem is that the three dorms share one single bathroom

The bed was comfortable, the shower was cold and dirty, the atmosphere was weird and the owner was unpleasant. I would stay there again if nothing else was available in Dominical, but it was not ideal.

River Road Hostel is more like a family home. Everything is very close, you don't have much space. The kitchen is gorgeous though and Alexandra the cleaner makes fresh juice every morning. The garden has many hammocks and its gorgeous to cool down in the river right across the street. The location is calm, as it's a 20 min walk from Dominical. Definitely a hostel for people that need a break from all the noise. It also felt more like a hostel for older people.
