Property Description
Set in Los Angeles and within 4.4 km of the Capitol Records Building, The Steady has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is located 5.8 km from Dolby Theater, 6.1 km from Hollywood Bowl, and 6.4 km from Griffith Observatory. The accommodation offers an ATM and luggage storage space for guests.
The rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, while some rooms also feature a kitchenette equipped with a fridge.
We offer 4 shared rooms and 2 private rooms with 4 toilets and 6 showers: 12-pod mixed room, 9-bed mixed room, 6-bed mixed room, 6-bed women's room, 5-bed private room, and 3-bed private room.

. Our Parrot Room receives beautiful indirect light, creating a calming vibe throughout the day. It has 6 single beds consisting of 3 double bunks. This room has access to three different bathrooms and comes with spacious lockers to secure belongings. Each bed has access to a power outlet and each lower bunk has curtains for privacy.
. Our Flamingo Room is our women’s only room, for those that feel safer and more comfortable in the presence of sole females. It is consistently bright throughout the day, making for an uplifting vibe to prepare you for the day that awaits.
There are 3 double bunks and curtains for privacy for each lower bunk. This room has access to three different bathrooms and comes with spacious lockers to secure your belongings. Each bed has access to a power outlet.
. Our Evergreen Room is our biggest bunk room, as well as the only room that has a private bathroom. It receives more muted light, which makes for a relaxed vibe throughout the day. There are 9 single beds consisting of 3 triple bunks. If the private bathroom is in use, this room has access to three other bathrooms within the hostel and comes with spacious lockers to secure belongings. Each bed has access to a power outlet and each middle bunk has curtains for privacy.
. Our Pod Room receives abundant natural light throughout the day, creating a gorgeous golden glow at dusk and dawn. The sunset view is classic LA: a gradient skyline littered with silhouetted palm trees. It has 12 single pods consisting of 6 double bunks. The sides are separated by solid walls and the front entrances have privacy curtains. Each pod has a built-in outlet, USB charging plugs, and dimmable nightlights. This room has access to three different bathrooms and comes with spacious lockers* to secure your belongings.

A skylight keeps the room aglow with natural Los Angeles light during the day and a canopy of stars by nightfall. This room offers a variety of amenities such as a vanity to work on and a couple of mirrors for personal use. It is equipped with 3 beds consisting of 1 double bunk and 1 single bed. Each bed has access to a power outlet. The room has access to three different bathrooms and comes with spacious lockers to secure your belongings.

The Steady Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

A $40 refundable security deposit will be charged upon arrival.

Check-in
• Guests are required to show a valid photo ID, proof of travel, and the credit card with which the reservation was made.
• A credit card is needed at check-in for a security deposit of $40/per guest due at check-in. This amount shall be returned upon check-out if no damages have been made and there are no missing items.
• The Steady is a traveler's hostel. We do not accept residents living within the greater Los Angeles area.
• Guests under the age of 18 are unable to be accommodated.
Beds
• Only 1 guest per bed is allowed.
• Guests are pre-assigned a bunk bed during check-in. Guests are not permitted to switch to a different bunk bed during their stay unless permission is granted by the hostel staff.
Length of Stay
• Guests may stay for 14 consecutive nights per 90 days.
• There are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, shortening of stays, or no-shows.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
• We know that travel under current circumstances is especially uncertain. We have updated our cancellation policy so that guests may now cancel without penalty up to check-in time (3 pm PST) on the date of arrival.
• Cancellations must be made through the same reservation channel through which the bed or room was originally booked, or you may reach out to us via email at info@thesteadyhostel.com.
• All reservations must be paid in full at check-in. Guests will not be refunded for any cancellations after check-in. The deposit is non-refundable. All reservations are non-transferable once paid.
Face Coverings and Social Distancing
• Facial coverings are mandatory within the common areas (kitchen and living spaces, reception, hallways, etc.). All guests and staff are required to practice social distancing (maintaining a minimum of 6 ft/2 m of distance
Safety and Security
• The Steady Hostel will provide guests with access codes to the front entrance of the hostel. These are changed regularly for security. You are not allowed to share this code with anyone.
• The comfort and safety of all guests are important to The Steady Hostel and its staff. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort (odor, noise, etc.) or safety (harassment, aggressive behaviors, highly intoxicated, etc.) of other guests, staff, or residents will be asked to leave the hostel premises and will not be given a refund.
• Guests must be fully clothed within the dorm rooms and common areas.
• We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity.
• Aggressive and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Personal Property
• The Steady Hostel is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage of guest property within the hostel premises. Guests are allowed to use the provided lockers within the premises on a first come first serve basis. Locks are not provided but sold at the front desk. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times.
Hostel Property
• Guests must reimburse The Steady Hostel for any damage caused by disrupting behavior during their stay. The hostel reserves the right to charge the guest for any damages to the property caused by the guest. The amount charged will be decided by the hostel management.
Liability
• The Steady Hostel is not responsible for personal injury as a result of any guest(s) behavior.
Privacy
• Your privacy is important to us. The Steady Hostel may store and use information supplied by the guest(s), however, we will never disclose any personal information to promote our business, or to the benefit of any third-party solicitation.
The Steady Hostel reserves the right to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Photos are relevant. But look like they were taken immediately after a renovation. It was very clean and accomodating. The Pods are awesome. I wished I would have requested a bottom assignment. The top was very awkward to get out of at 0400 when I had to leave each day. But other than that. Easy peasy. I’d return.

I have vertigo and breathing problems so stairs was hard for me. One night the floor was slippery wet and it would have been dangerous if I slipped and fell, not good for me especially because I have a scar in my brain, i have epileptic problems . Plumbing problems wall damage .dirt on door. Entering room had difficulties, I would put in the code more than once frustrated. Floor was a bit dirty. But if I had a seizure I know I’d be safe because people will be there to call emergency

This was my second time, the place it's OK, clean, even in room with 9 people you don't feal that are to many people, I recommend it. The only minus there is no Trade Joe around. If you are OK with McDonald's, than it's across the street. If you have cash, you can go and buy from Mexicans staff, it's cheap than trade Joe :)
