Fine for a night, the hostel is within a family home which was fine as the family were very friendly. Breakfast ingredients were provided (rice and eggs) and we prepared our own eggs in the fairly well stocked kitchen. Room felt very basic and no lockers or storage facilities/lockable doors. The beds were uncomfortable so not the best sleep, but close (ish) to the airport and next to a big super market.

Very hospitable place , Warren is a great guy & very helpful.. location is a good walk from the center, which is quieter & near Sodas & supermarkets. Great kitchen & authentic breakfast The accommodation is basic , but what do you expect, Brilliant stay , Pura Vida

had a lovely night here in San Jose after my flight. the hostel is fairly near to the airport and the shuttle service was really helpful. dorm was clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped and breakfast was tasty. Warren is a brilliant host - he was so welcoming and made me feel at home. he even dropped me to the bus station the next morning. thanks for a great stay, i hope to return soon:)
