We are located about OUTSIDE the West Gate,about 500 metres along the MAIN ROAD.

The Lily Pad inn is conveniently located and just a short 5-minute walk from the center of Dali town.

The inn with nice gardens which are typical of the local bai-minority style. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished and available for rent by the month, week or day.

We have styles of rooms: the traditional bai minority style which means it is decorated to offer 'a peaceful place to rest and refresh'. The guest rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable handcrafted furniture and decorated with antiques. Large windows look out over the mountains offering scenic views of Erhai Lake, Dali's 3 Pagoda and Cang Mountain.

Our guests stay connected with Wi-Fi and unlimited access to our complimentary high speed Internet connection.

We use mountain spring water everyday ,please drink after boiled.

Regardless of your preference to travel solo or join one of the several travel groups our friendly and knowledge staff are always on hand to offer advice.

Our family style group meals is an excellent way to join in on the everyday festivities, narrate your travel tales and share and seek advice.

Directions to The Lily Pad Guesthouse (Dali):
We are located about 600 meters on the MAIN ROAD south of the OUT SIDE West Gate.

please Let the taxi driver give us a call on before you get on the car. (with the number provided by Hostelworld after booking).

Please note:
Dali train station and the main bus stations (where many buses from Kunming drop you off) are located in Dali City (Xiaguan).
We are located in Dali Old town which is 15KM north of Dali City(Xiaguan).

1. Guests who take train to Dali

A. Arrival Xiaguan time from 8am to 8pm
1, Take NO.4 bus to the stop “Renmin Lu(人民路口)”.Get off the bus and face mountain to cross road, then turn left. Go uphill 50 meters, you can see Lily Pad. Buses go every 15 minutes and it takes u 40 minutes to 1 hour from Xiaguan bus station to Dali Old town. it is 3 yuan per person.
2/On the bus from Li jiang:
Ask the bus driver to stop at old town ,and then take a taxi.

B. Arrival Xiaguan time from 8am to 8pm
Take NO.4 bus to Dali Old Town. Get off bus at the stop “Hong Long Jing(红龙井)”. Face the mountain to cross the road and turn right to walk for 1 minutes,see parking lot, turn left, Go uphill 50 meters, you can see Lily Pad. Buses go every 15 minutes and it takes u 40 minutes to 1 hour from Xiaguan bus station to Dali Old town. it is 3 yuan per person.

C. Arrival Xiaguan time before 8:00am or after 8pm
You’d better take a taxi which cost around 60 yuan.
Before getting on the taxi, please ask the driver to contact us to get information how to come in case he drops you off somewhere.

1, If you take No. 8 bus by mistake
No. 8 bus(6:30am-8:30pm): If you mis-take No.8 bus, please get off at the stop Dali Old Town east gate and take taxi.
NO.8 bus go every 15 minutes, which takes 40 minutes to 1 hour to Dali Old Town

2. If you take a taxi
Before getting on the taxi, please ask the driver to contact us to get information how to come in case he drops you off somewhere. Usually taxis charge around 60 yuan without hitting list.
