Property Description
Purpose-built backpacker accommodation near Kuirau Park geothermal wonder and the Rotorua CBD. Our refurbished kitchen, spacious dining area, comfortable lounge are the highlights of our main building, paired with comfortable rooms to suit families, couples and backpackers.
We want your holiday in Rotorua to be enjoyable and memorable! Our friendly staff can organise geothermal tours, Maori cultural evenings, relaxing hot mineral spas, awesome outdoor adventures like rafting or mountain biking and more.
Our Front Desk hours are 9 am to 5 pm.
Check-in is from 2 pm onwards.
If you are arriving earlier you're welcome to store your luggage and hang out with us in our communal areas. Free WiFi, tea, and coffee! We recommend booking the night prior if you are arriving in the early morning, please check availability and amend your booking online.
If you are arriving after our Front Desk is closed, no problem! We will send you self-check-in information on the day of your arrival, or alternatively, we have a Night Manager who will be here to help you.
We do offer luggage storage (free of charge) on site, please ask our friendly staff at the hostel.
Our hostel is strictly non-smoking.
The guest can cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within 1 day before arrival.

It was amazing. The rooms were new and modern and we felt like we were in a hotel (which for us is a good thing). The most luxurious place that we stayed in up until now throughout our trip.

Perfect! The room I was in was way better than shown on the picture (they are renovated the whole hostel), same for the bathroom. It was clean, well located. Each bed had a light and plug socket, and you have a locker to store your luggage safely. It was quiet so might not be the place where you'll meet many people but the staff is really nice (special mention for the German guy who was nice and helpful). I recommend at 100%

The photos they have here are old, they’re currently under construction and renovating. The new bunk rooms are very nice!
