OM Chakra is your home away from home, located in La Punta in Puerto Escondido. Om Chakra is a cozy guesthouse that embraces nature, people and chill vibes. It is great for those looking for a quiet, calming environment. There is a small swimming pool under a beautiful tree as well.

Located a few steps from famous La Punta beach, enjoy great surf sessions, a delicious breakfast in one of the many cafes and restaurants, chill by the pool or go out to one of the bars along the strip in the evening.

Our rooms are aimed for comfort and privacy, each with a private bathroom and shower, power sockets, reading lights and other details that will make your stay special. Our shared kitchen has everything you need to cook yourself and friends meals whenever you please.

At the beginning we loved the vibe! Ac works well. But the shower was cold. The kitchen was not clean. There were maggots on the floor. We needed to switch to another room and nobody was there. They take really long to respond. We had no wifi for the first days. And someone stole my food from the fridge. They first took a bite and then left the empty package in the fridge. It was kinda expensive cheese so i was upset.

This hostel feels like a hotel. I had an amazing experience at hostel Chakra. I extended my stay twice because it has everything you need. I would recommend this hostel for anybody coming to holiday in Puerto Escondido. The hostel has useful facilities, it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff are brilliant and were incredibly helpful and attentive. The location is great being a 10 minute walk from the beach, bars, shops and groceries.
