We've got room types to suit all travellers, from solo backpackers to families and large groups. With two fully-equipped kitchens, two lounge areas, and outdoor courtyard there's plenty of space to entertain yourself. Our friendly team is on hand with travel tips and a free booking service.

YHA Christchurch is superbly located for an easy walk to restaurants and bars on the Terrace, Victoria Street, or New Regent Street. Our Front Desk hours are 9 am to 5 pm.
Check-in is from 2 pm onwards.
If you are arriving earlier you're welcome to store your luggage and hang out with us in our communal areas. Free WiFi, tea, and coffee! We recommend booking the night prior if you are arriving in the early morning, please check availability and amend your booking online.

If you are arriving after our Front Desk is closed, no problem! We will send you self-check-in information on the day of your arrival, or alternatively, we have a Night Manager who will be here to help you.
We do offer luggage storage (free of charge) on site, please ask our friendly staff at the hostel.

Our hostel is strictly non-smoking.

The guest can cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within 1 day before arrival.
