Great central location, four bed dorm was a decent size, had its own bathroom and the beds had privacy curtains.
Free breakfast and dinner was simple but decent portions. And they had a decent labelling system for storing your own food.
Staff were always cleaning so the place was spotless. However they do start early so having a lie in is pretty near impossible. Not too major if you’re only here for a short stay though!

It’s fine for a few nights only. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was tiny and you only get one small locker for your belongings. There was no shelf or hook in the bathroom to put any toiletries or hang your towel. There’s no fan or air con in the rooms so it is so stuffy. The kitchen and fridges are chaos so I didn’t even bother attempting to cook anything. As I said fine for a quick stop over but not longer than that.

The actual name of this place is Venus hostel, if you look for “Sydney Pod†it’s another hostel unrelated to this one. It’s deceiving to change the name with the purpose that people google it and expect a different place with other reviews.
Venus hostel is a venue without reception or actual employees on site, it has a tiny old bathroom with only one toilet and one shower per floor for everyone.
It’s also not accesible, has only stairs.
