El Bamboo Cabins

The cabins , has been constructed using a mixture of techniques and diverse materials, it is an attempt to recover the use of traditional materials and aesthetics. Most of the bamboo used and all the wood has been recovered from the bamboo forest and fallen trees after Hurricane Nate in October 2017.

As each cabin on my property is designed by me and each one is different from the other. Each piece of furniture has been specially designed for each cabin and is handmade.

The project is fundamentally based on the concept of the 3 Rs, Recycle, Reduce and Reuse. We have a special site for organic waste and one for non-organic.

The gardens are designed and planted with the aim of creating a space where different types of birds (more or less you can see 12/15 different species) and animals converge, such as: squirrels, iguanas, monkeys, possums, eagles, caracaras, magpies , hummingbirds and many varieties of butterflies.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
