Voluntourism is a type of tourism and a form of ecotourism. Where volunteers immerse themselves in a new culture and learn/life from a different perspective altogether. that combines travel with volunteer work. It typically involves individuals or groups of travelers participating in volunteer activities such as building or renovations, teaching English, or working on conservation projects in destinations around the world. The goal is to give back to the local community and make a positive impact while also experiencing a new culture and destination.

Volunteering with RHICs offers an experience which is more of a direct interactive experience that looks to promote changed consciousness and value change in an individual that subsequently influences their lifestyle while providing forms of community betterment projects in local communities.
RHICs is focused on bridging the gaps in community development projects through sustainable travel and service learning. RHICs sees that school curriculum is a crucial part of learning, but the lessons learnt through traveling abroad are unmatched.


The project experience one will get is far beyond something, someone sitting in a classroom will get. It enables you to look and learn things from a different perspective, different culture and a different environment from your own comfort zone.
For some, it allows them to learn new things about themselves (things they did not realize they were capable of e.g. overcoming challenges or conquering their own fears etc.)
For others, it has changed the way they view life and has made them realize that there is so much to be thankful for in this life - in your own life (Just by living life from a different setting/culture/Perspective etc.). Apart from these, one other intention is to develop people into global citizens.

Travelers volunteering with us are traveling with purpose. They get to travel and see beautiful sceneries while implementing community projects.
The communities we choose are communities that have little to no resources to improve the standard of facilities in schools and or around them as a community. Thus we have a project fee ($750 AUD per weeks stay) that will cover all that (Project Materials/Resources & everything else covers your stay : Transfers to & from Project site, Briefing, meals, excursions, 24/7 in country support staff, Tshirt/Sarong etc)

Furthermore our Volunteers learn and immerse themselves into a new culture, living & looking at life from a different perspective. In return they will have community work experience, life long friendships and even professional networks.

Staffs are friendly and open minded people who are passionate about the community and getting to know the volunteers that they will be working with.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our volunteers so that their stay and projects are meaningful and worthwhile.
Staffs will be with the volunteers 24/7 for any kind of assistance in-country.
