Welcome to Darna, your home away from home! In Arabic, Darna means our home, and we, Duaa and Dalia, cousins from Jordan, are thrilled to host you at our cozy hostel located in the heart of Amman, in the vibrant neighbourhood of Jabal Al-lwebdah.

Jabal Al-lwebdah is a popular area known for its fusion of Western and Eastern vibes with many shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Nestled next to the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, our location offers a perfect blend of cultural and historical experiences. At Darna, you'll be just a short stroll away from the impressive King Abdullah I Mosque, a stunning example of modern Islamic architecture. Explore nearby cafes, restaurants, and art galleries, or take a 20-minute walk to downtown Amman to visit the Roman Theater, Hussainy Mosque, and the renowned Hashem Falafel restaurant.

Our cozy hostel features five bedrooms, a welcoming indoor common area, a big shared gym-style bathroom and a spacious sunny garden.

Whether you're a solo traveller or not, Darna provides a safe and enjoyable environment. Both of us have extensive experience teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, and we offer Arabic classes and opportunities to immerse yourself in Jordanian culture. Join our monthly cultural workshops, including calligraphy, embroidery, Oud music, and cooking classes.

Cancellation policy: You may cancel your reservation up to 2 days before arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a full charge.

Check-in is from 14:00 to 23:00. For late check-ins, kindly contact us in advance.
Check-out time is until 12:30.

Payment upon arrival by cash or card with (+2.5%).
