The Pink House Hostel

Come and stay in the Westernmost Hostel in Europe, perched on the very edge of the old world, smack-dab in the middle of the mighty Atlantic Ocean! We are a family-owned and run hostel, and we can provide you with all the tips, tricks, and best-kept secrets of the island. We wanted to bring vibrant young energy to the island which is why we opened the Pink House Hostel, and we hope you enjoy staying here as much as we enjoyed creating this space for you.

We also have a hostel cat who roams around the neighborhood and might end up on the end of your bed at nighttime:)

Our dormitory-style rooms encourage you to interact with your fellow travelers and hear all of their stories and recs on where not to miss and how many flowers and rabbits they've seen on their hikes, and our shared kitchen is complete with stovetops, a fridge, and breakfast tables.

There is much to do around the hostel and island in general, we offer airport transfers and island transfers for a fee, bicycles for rent, a book trading library, a common room with a tv and Netflix for those days when you just need a chill sesh (though on Flores, it's hard to stay indoors with all the waterfalls there are to jump into), and all the fresh air you've been missing in the big cities:)
Ask our staff about secret trails and swimming holes, where's the best place to grab a cold beer and bifana (local steak sandwich), and what time of day to switch from Bom Dia to Boa Tarde so that the locals will tell you your Portuguese is great.

The Pink House Hostel Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 14:00 to 20:00 .
Check out from 07:00 to 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by Cash and Direct Deposit.
Taxes not included - 4%
Breakfast not included.
