Chill in Canggu … unheard of right? We do things differently here, we’re not your average party hostel. Of course we like a bintang or 2 but we bring the more laid back chill surf vibes to this bustling lil surf town here in Bali.

Canggu Chill Surf & Stay was created by surfers … for surfers. Locally owned with over 10 years experience running a successful surf school here in Bali the mission was to create an affordable & authentic surf hostel here in the heart of the up-and-coming surfer town of Canggu.

Set within the heart of the Berawa district and just a 2 minute drive from the beach, this area is home to some of the most sought after waves on the island. With something for everyone - from complete beginners at Batu Bolong to the world class intermediate breaks of Echo Beach & Perenanan.

With our island inspired, bohemian design all our rooms are equipped with AC, international power, reading lamps, curtains on the beds & high speed wifi combined with multiple chill and co-working common areas, a small gym and a range of weekly activities in and outside of the hostel. If you are looking to be in the centre of the hustle and bustle but still have a chill retreat to come back to after a day of surfing or exploring then you’re in the right place.

Our ethos when creating our hostel was we wanted to create a community, a family of like minded explorers & surfers from around the globe, not just people who want to come and drown themselves in Bintangs. With weekly group activities offered for our guests such as BBQ night, Movie night, Cooking Classes and trips around Bali we are a favourite for solo travellers looking to meet travel friends for life … who knows where your stay with us could take you.
