Our hostel features private and shared spacious rooms, large lounges, and balconies with access to an edible garden filled with fruit trees and aromatic herbs.

Conveniently situated between the coastal towns of Puerto Viejo and Cahuita on Route 36, reaching Organico Punta Riel is easy via public transportation, and we provide secure parking for our visitors' vehicles. We attract guests from all around the world, mainly young and backpacking travelers.

At Organico Punta Riel, our rooms include 2 in a container and 4 on the second floor, all naturally ventilated, with cleaning service, and adorned with decorations inspired by the flora and fauna of the Tropical Rainforest.

Organico Punta Riel Policy and Condition:

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

I'm disappointed with this hostel, the pictures are not a good representation of how it looks in real life. It's much more tired and not in pleasant condition. The website says 24-hour security and check-in, we arrived at 9pm and no one was there we basically had to break in through the front gate (which was worryingly easy). When we got in we had no idea where we were staying as after waiting for an hour still no one came, we called, and messaged on Instagram but no reply. Eventually, we searched the hostel for a room. We found a private room with keys in the door thankfully, although inside our room it was very dirty - dirty earplugs in the bed! The door to our room didn't lock so we didn't sleep a wink as we felt unsafe. In the morning the next door house was blasting music so loudly I couldn't wait to leave. Sorry, but I really don't recommend this hostel.
