Located near the Kaylana Lake, The Hosteller Heritage Palace, Jodhpur is India’s first palace hostel. It is housed in one of Jodhpur’s oldest palaces, built way back in 1959 by Maharaja Takhat Singh as his family’s summer residence. The palace is majestic and built in the Indo Saracenic style of architecture mixed with Rajputana design elements. Nestled amidst lush green lawns, a big blue lake and palatial grounds - this hostel will feel like it is straight out of a movie, or a page of history.

Elegant, polished and comfortable rooms are complemented by a plethora of common areas, chill spaces and hang out spots in this palatial hostel. The grounds are huge and have verdant green lawns with cast iron tables and chairs shaded by big garden umbrellas made with local Jodhpuri fabrics. These grounds also hold a mini stepwell and spill out spaces that act as a party area, perfect for any kind of private events. Lamp posts mark cobblestone lanes that lead to two step seating spaces, a large leisurely pool, an open cafe and a huge pergola; perfect for personal picnics. The proximity to the lake allows for a stunning boating area behind the hostel, where you can lazily boat or watch the geese and duck swim around. Jodhpuri trims and colourful traditional lanterns adorn the walls, creating stunning backdrops for photos.
