Welcome to Habitat Hostel & Bistro, Chiangmai! Your home away from home. We are 2nd Branch of Habitat group -- Located at Hassdhisawee road, opposite Santitham Temple, only 400 meters walk to Chiangmai old town.
The first floor is the lobby area to welcome guests and customers. It is a very comfortable space to sit and relax. There is an inviting space to read your book or work on your computer while having lovely homemade ice cream, snacks, and coffee. The second & third floors have three dorm rooms with separate bathrooms for men and women.
The entrance to these floors has safety codes for security. All beds have curtain blinds for privacy. There are lockers provided for each room. At Habitat Hostel, we aim to provide our guests with the comfort of home, convenience, and a clean place to stay while exploring Chiang Mai's beauty.

1) Check-in from 14:00
2) Check out Before 11:00
3) Reception working hours: 9:00 – 17:00
Please let us know if you will arrive at the hostel after 17:00.
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash only
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 24 hours before arrival.
6) Breakfast is included.
7) NO smoking in Room, but have a smoking area.

I have been staying here at Habitat for one week now and it feels like home. Peaceful, loving and joyful atmosphere.. and most importantly it is CLEAN!
They have free continental breakfast that is included when you book every morning from 8am - 10am.
You can have it earlier or later upon request.
They also have an in house yoga teacher available
at a discounted price for guests! (:

I hate to leave a bad review on such a nice place but this hostel was COVERED in ants. The beds, the sinks, floors. Even when I was eating breakfast there were ants on my plate. I had less problems with bugs staying in the jungle ðŸ˜
Other than that, it’s a lovely space and it’s so nice that they give you cold water bottles, towels, and breakfast. The workers dont speak any English so all info will be through a book or the hostel world.

Great place to stay. New and clean facilities, friendly host and a nice cafe. Breakfast is included and delicious. You can also store your luggage here if you want to do an overnight trip elsewhere. Not necessarily a social place but I did meet some wonderful people here.
