TradeMark Sydney is a haven for travellers located in the heart of Kings Cross.
You cannot beat the location for accessing everything Sydney has on offer because the hostel is located right above the Kings Cross railway station. The hostel has just re-opened after an extensive renovation and has everythinng you will need for a warm welcome to Sydney as well as a comfortable night's sleep.
The hostel has a rooftop area to relax and enjoy, a cinema room, large co-working and breakout space as well as a shared kitchen for guests to use.
- Reception is open 7am - 12 midnight. $40 Key & Linen Deposit charged at check-in and refunded at check-out. $5 linen charge applies.
- Cancellations within 24 hours and no shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night stay.
- If you cancel a Non-Refundable Rate you will still be charged the full amount of the booking, this can not be refunded however can be moved to a different date, subject to availability and accommodation fare difference.
- We do not accept guests under the age of 16 years old in shared dormitory rooms.
- We do not accept guests over the age of 35 in shared dormitory rooms.
- Prices are quoted in AUD and are subject to change daily.
- Valid credit card (in the guests name) and a valid passport are required upon check in.
- If you have made a reservation through an (online) travel agency you must cancel or modify through the agency.
- The following payment methods are accepted; cash, credit or debit cards (Visa and MasterCard only). We do not accept American Express. All credit or debit cards incur a 1.8% payment fee.
- The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the hostel by guests or visitors of guests.
- $40 fee will be charged for the loss or non-return of any keys to reception upon check out.
- When booking multiple beds in a shared dorm, we cannot guarantee to put people on the same booking in the same room, however we will do our best.
- Guests may not consume or store food and drinks in their rooms. Any alcohol or food found in the rooms will be removed.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

I was not able to check in due to the app not accepting my id, there was no way to contact the property and no one got back to me the duration of my proposed stay. I had to find somewhere else to stay last minute when I arrived in Sydney or I would have been sleeping on the streets. Absolutely disgusted and I will never book through hostel world again.

We booked a Ensuite Room. The water in the bathroom leaked onto the carpet. The carpet was dirty. When we check-in, there was nobody at the reception. Many people were allowed to sleep in the dark corner next to the reception. The Aircon vent inside the room was blocked by a Coles paper bag, probably by the previous guest. Housekeeping did not bother to remove it. Overall VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. 😡

I was quite happy with the hostel. We stayed in a private room and it was clean and quite spacious. I was a bit worried from seeing past reviews but it really was good value for money. The location was excellent, right next to kings cross train station, our room actually looked into the station which was quite cool. The bathrooms definitely could be cleaner but for a hostel it’s expected, and if you use it shortly after they clean it, it’s fine. The staff were lovely.
