Basil hostel was one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. It is cozy and has home vibes so easy to meet new people. The owner and volunteers are always there to help with everything you need. I was so happy there and I wll definitely stay again!

Amazing hostel, the staff were super helpful and friendly. I was able to leave my bag here while I stayed in Nizwa for one night. The hostel is very social and it was really nice to see a mix of solo travellers from all over and there was a nice mix of ages at the hostel too. I’d definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Muscat.

Amazing hostel and a MUST stay if you're visiting Oman. The staff are incredible and they help you link up with other travelers to make renting cars and day trips easier! Very social hostel as well with plenty of travelers passing through. Can't recommend it enough!
