We are still under construction. Facilities like the restaurant, shower and toilets are there, but very basic. And there is scaffolding in the middle of the building, which will be gone in a week or so. We don't work there when you're sleeping in. Since we do all construction by hand, there's little noise during the day, so no worries, we'll make sure you can relax and enjoy this unique environment perfectly!
Because we are still under construction, we have a special low price and breakfast is included for free!
A healthy home-cooked vegan lunch and dinner are available at $25.000 each.

You wake up refreshed, to the sound of howler monkeys. With over 20 bird species you'll spot hummingbirds in the flowers, toucans in the trees and king fishers sheering over the water. Discover explore 50+ hectares of pristine jungle with over 1,5km riverfront. Ideal for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts and backpackers.
💚Socializing, Jungle Style
After your group tour or fun workshop, savor a healthy vegan meal, served family-style around our communal table. In the evening, you watch a movie in our hammock cinema, while the jungle provides an epic soundscape. At the end of an amazing day, you fall asleep in your bed in the cozy 6-bed dorm, complete with orthopedic mattresses and mosquito nets.

Contributing to a greener planet is what defines us. We embrace eco-friendly construction methods and materials and have planted over a 1.000 trees to further decrease our environmental footprint. We generate our own power by a waterturbine and solar panels.

Cancellation Policy: 1 days before arrival.
Reception is open from 7:00 until 21:00 But outside of that, the owners and workers are available 24/7 in urgent cases. Since we already have 3 dogs and 3 horses, we can't accept other pets. The jungle is not an ideal place for families with small children, but they are welcome if supervised at all times.

My time at Blue Dot was amazing, the access to the river beach, the vegan food, and the atmosphere. Everything was so nice. Although the hostel is still under construction, there is a lot of space to enjoy the amazing views. Nature is so unique in this area, get ready to wake up to the beautiful sound of the birds!

Perfect for getting away from civilization and trying something different, literally off the beaten track.
I really loved the long adventurous moto taxi ride to arrive, followed by the pulley car across the river to get to the hostel!
After I was there I didn't do much other than chill in the hammocks and swim in the river :) but if I went back I would explore more, as the nature there is really incredible. You see a lot of tiny frogs and kingfishers and wake up to howler monkeys and toucans...
