Welcome to Nomads Queenstown - a multi-award winning hostel overlooking the snowcapped mountains and right on the shores of beautiful Lake Wakapitu.

Whether you are travelling solo, as part of a couple or a group, our huge range of rooms will definitely cover what you need! From hotel style king rooms, to more social shared spaces - all with access to our beautiful kitchen, movie room and lounge - complete with roaring fireplace!

Our friendly reception team will take care of all your needs during your stay, and if you want to go exploring Queenstown or….anywhere…our travel gurus can sort out your trip of a lifetime! Please note that we are a dry hostel and alcohol is not permitted in our communal areas or dorm rooms.

As we are located in the heart of Queenstown one side of our property backs onto a popular social street (Searle Lane). Due to this we do experience noise from local bars especially over the weekend so please contact us directly via email if you are a lighter sleeper and we will do our best to allocate you to a room on the Church Street side of our property.

We also have free ear plugs available at our 24 hour reception if required so please don't hesitate to ask our friendly reception team for these.

Great property. accidentally booked 2 beds and they were kind enough to refund one. sauna is a great touch.

This was a great hostel and great value for money . The only thing I could fault is power points being so far away from beds - just for convenience it would be so good if each bed had their own power point. If we ever had any issues , reception was fantastic and onto it . There were lots of things to do such as movie nights and pub crawls organised by the hostel . I would definitely stay here again :)

Really clean, friendly staff, felt very safe my only recommendations would be to have power plugs next to the bed as it was hard to charge devices!
