The Hostel buildings themselves were designed in the Mexican 'Hacienda' architectural style. The buildings have beautiful details like a beautiful facade with huge wooden doors, gardens, art, and amazing tile work. Our bathrooms are NOT stalls, but real, home sized bathrooms.

The room did not have a desk which was in the pictures. They only provided one towel for 2 of us. The room was 100 meters away from the hostel which didn’t really give the hostel vibe.
Furthermore they charged the wrong exchange rate. If you want to pay cash in MXN, they will charge you more than the market rate, the same applies to euro compared to dollar. They charge 1:1 on euro while the market rate is about 10% more. Unfair practices

Check in was difficult. They insisted on keeping my passport the day before my flight. Staff were a bit rude about it when I suggested they keep my ID instead. No happy hour beer as they'd run out. Got out in a place across the street which was quieter but we could still here the music coming from the bar.

The air conditioning leaked water all over my passport and items and it looks clean at first glance but once you take a closer look the sheets and towels are discoloured, stained, and have dirty items on them.
The WIFI was good and I liked how they had “no check out timeâ€.
