Situated in a 1000 inhabitants village 13 km from Granada it permits to lay back and enjoy a magnificent mountain view, have a walk around in the Sierra Nevada or take a swim at the nearby lake.
Our friendly staff speaks English, German, Spanish and a little French.
You can chose in between private or shared rooms with or without own bathroom and we also offer a little idependent house suitable for up to 2 persons with one double bed. It has its own kitchen, bathroom, wood stove and airconditioner.
If you want to jump to Granada with its monuments,bars, nightlife, just - take the bus and you'll be there in 20 minutes.
Fundalucia offers garden area, swimming pool from 9-23h, free linen, free 24h internet access, full kitchen, washing machine, hot showers, TV, Dvd, movies, tourist information, friendly attention and loads of relax.
Out of respect for your fellow travelers and the neighbours, we ask you to be extremely quiet after 11 o'clock at night.
No alcohol or drugs allowed on our premises.

Fundalucia was a very comfortable place to stay for a hostel. The hosts were present but discrete at the same time. The whole place functions on a "trust" level, which makes the atmosphere quite relaxed and calm. Well equipped kitchen and "grocery" stack to use in case of needs. A good place to relax and a basis for nice day-walks in the Sierra Nevada, after visiting the center of Grenada.

I have returned 5 times over 7 years now and they keep getting better at what they do. It is my center for hiking the Sierra Nevada, the liocal Mass at the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation is number 1! It is also on the wonderful Camino Morazabe. I have made wonderful friends at this place and in this super peaceful town!!!

There’s not much to do other than hiking, but the atmosphere in the hostel is super relaxed. It’s easy to get in touch with the other travelers. Great if you want to escape the busy cities. Beautiful nature and charming village.
