We offer you inexpensive accommodation and a great place to meet other backpackers from all over the world!
We are an eco-friendly hostel located in Linn?staden in the southwest part of the city. In this area, you will find lots of bars, pubs, restaurants and caf?s and most of Gothenburg's sights, like it?s canal, gardens and museums are within walking distance.
Get to know the city and take part in our social events!
What events we do depend on the weather and season. We organize for example walking tours, karaoke, quiz nights, bar hopping, pizza night, football matches in slottsskogen, taco night and bbq nights. Free of charge to join, but everyone pays for their own drinks or food.
Only 10 min from the Centralstation by bus (bus 60 to Vegagatan) or tram (1 or 6 to Olivedalsgatan)
Facilities
We have a fully equipped kitchen and common area where you can cook, hang out and meet new people!
We offer free WiFi - so you can stay connected when away from home.
Dirty laundry? In the reception, you can book the washing machine/dryer for 65 SEK
We also have a pool table for guests to use.
You can also use our sauna. We offer it for free between 5-8 pm every day.
And every day we offer an eco-friendly breakfast buffet with vegan options for 85SEK!
The different types of accommodation we offer are:
Gender specific dorms with 8 beds in each
Private: 2, 3 and 4- bedded rooms
Our rooms are equipped with TV (except the dorms) and a hairdryer. Most of our rooms have bunk beds and all shared rooms have lockers so you can store your bags safely.

There was a good atmosphere during my stay and the open kitchen provided a great opportunity to socialize. Only worth to mention that the Backpackers hostel seemed to be the Slottsskogens hostel.

Affordable breakfast. However, cleanliness needs improvement - moss on the coffee machine, really dirty oven & kitchen equipment. The hostel's location is a clear advantage. It offers easy access to various city attractions and convenient connections to public transportation.
