We have created a hostel with common areas that allow you to socialize with other travelers. The most popular areas that our visitors enjoy the most are the kitchen and dinning area, which are perfect for meeting new friends. In the backyard, you'll find a garden and a terrace where you'll be able to journal and read on our hammocks while also enjoying the sunny days. AND For those who want to stay in shape, we also have a treadmill, some weights, yoga mats and very soon we will have two swings to do aerial yoga.

I had a great stay at the Arequipay Backpackers hostel. I only planned to stay a few nights but ended up staying a week.
The hostel had a lovely feel to it with many areas to socialise. The breakfast was fairly basic but it was a great way to meet people and start the day.
There were also a lot of tours offered from the hostel which were good value.
The location is great, only being 5-10mins away from the main square.

There’s a certain shame to repeatedly asking to stay one more night over and over again. This is a shame I shared with most people who were staying here. I’d probably have stayed forever at this great hostel if not for the endless threat of the next batch of 2am Colco tours wake ups. (PS You can book a shuttle from here to the canyon for 45 soles which is really handy if you’re going sans tour which is very doable!)

Great hostel with a gym and free breathwork class which was great! Free breakfast was simple but nice. Rooms a bit noisy with creaky floorboards but curtains so good privacy. Nice hostel!
