It's a 100-year-old Si-He-Yuan house among the mountain, the east-side-wall of the house is a part of the Great Wall. So our house is located in the countryside, not in DOWNTOWN Beijing.

I loved my stay here. It was winter and off season so there was only 3 of us there, but this was perfect. The location is amazing to explore the wall on multiple hikes. The staff are so helpful and will do anything for you. The beds were so comfortable and we had the dorm to ourselves. The cats are mega cute too (watch them, they sneak into your room when youâ€™re not looking!) I would 100% recommend staying here. The train station is a 40 minute walk away so itâ€™s easy to get to from Beijing.

Great base to have for some Hiking along the Great Wall of China. Very modern facilities and a great host who was very helpful.

I have so many good things to say about this place. Itâ€™s such a hidden gem. The woman who owns the hostel is so kind and makes very delicious home cooked meals. The nearby trek through on the Great Wall is also beautiful and not nearly as busy as other parts (I only saw 3 locals the whole time). I cannot recommend this hostel enough.
