Boasting some of the worlds most famous surf breaks, a warm balmy climate, breathtaking scenery and loads of fantastic shops and restaurants for your enjoyment. Surf, dive, snorkel, swim, fish, hike, skydive, party on or chill out, Cooly's got something for every traveller.
Guests must agree to the YHA Coolangatta Gold Coast's House Rules on check-in and are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful and courtesy of other the guests they are sharing space with.
If you need to cancel your booking you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your check-in date, if you fail to give notice your credit card will be charged for the amount of 1 night's stay.
Our office hours are 8am - 5pm. If you are arriving after our office hours, please call or e-mail ahead for our lock box code.

I only stayed 16hr. Some instant coffee sachets but no sugar/milk. No towels - which kinda makes sense.
Friendly young crew, no nose after 10pm, easy walk to airport.

Loved it!! Around a 5 minute walk to the beach and there’s a little cafe near by as well. While it’s a little bit out of the main town you can easily walk or catch a bus which takes you right to the centre. Lovely staff and a really relaxing place to stay.

Great short stay, 10-15 minute walk to the airport. Close to the beach, not a long walk into the main city area as well. Nice big kitchen and main area, and everything was very clean.
