Finlay Jacks backpacker’s is a fresh modern hostel with Free unlimited WiFi, Netflix, Tea & Coffee, spacious balcony, cozy TV lounge, well equipped kitchen, plenty of off street parking and the friendliest staff around.
A hostel that revolves around our guests and ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We like to think of ourselves as a fresh young hostel keeping up with the young generation of today offering new POD beds!!, single beds, en suites attached to the rooms, free quality WiFi and Netflix for those quiet nights.
Our office hours are 8.30am - 7pm.
Check-ins outside of these hours must be pre-arranged with us.
Bed and Room Movements
Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure you are accommodated in the same room throughout your stay, due to limited availability at time of booking, it may be necessary for you to change rooms. If applicable, you will be advised of this at check-in. You will be accommodated in a room of similar or higher standard to that originally booked.
Due to limited availability at time of booking, multi-share accommodation for two or more guests may be provided in separate rooms. Every endeavour will be made to ensure this does not occur, but should this be necessary you will be advised at check-in.

The dorm beds are amazing for space and privacy, good social spaces, kitchen well stocked. It is a very busy hostel so kitchen was often a bit cramped and there wasn't any space in the fridge for our food. The dorms could be a bit cleaner e.g. some mould in the en suite, dust/debris in corners in the pods and around the room. This is the first hostel we've had where the tumble dryer actually works well!

very friendly hostel. worth noting that most rooms are sliding doors kept open through the day if dorm mates dont actively lock it behined them - wasnt a problem for me though, everyone is chill there :)

Lovely spot, probably the most comfortable and private hostel I’ve stayed in so far, the beds are basically very small pod rooms where you can store your stuff and just take a break from the outside world so was so good for relaxing in private. Very comfortable and quiet as well. Facilities were all clean and good, first place I’ve been to with an oven which was cool! Staff were great, but not a very social vibe, only spoke to a couple people. At least I could sit and read in the sun :))
