Mariposa is overall awesome. The first room we were out in was a bit dreary, damp, and dirty. However, the staff quickly moved us to the upstairs room which is amazing. The bathroom is a bit cramped and slightly dirty but it’s absolutely manageable. It’s steps from the beach and has organized activities everyday. The volunteers and staff are extremely kind and welcoming and the it’s right by supermarkets and the town.

Unfortunately this place was flooded when I arrived. However, the staff was very accommodating and gave us a refund right away!!

Our room smelt of manure, was boiling hot with fans that ejected dust. Super dirty bathrooms. Would not recommend, left early and went to another hostel.
