This hostel has a great location. Right in the centre of Santiago's pumping streets (at night you'll meet plenty of samba dancers and drummers), anyone with a penchant for the Chilean party spirit won't be disappointed. H Rado is also happily close to the city's biggest tourist attractions, so you won't have to travel far to experience the best of the city. Patio Bellavista, Rio Mapocho and Parque Foresta are all within 200 meters and the Baquendo Metro Station (Sanitago's main metro station) is just a 5 minute walk.

Almost all our rooms feature private en-suite bathrooms. On our top floor you will find a lounge area to relax, watch a movie or mix and mingle with other guests. Everything was great except for our room. It was not very clean. However I did not complain about it. I am sure If I had they would have cleaned it again right away. The location was fantastic and the neighborhood fun to walk around. Lots of restaurants in the area with inexpensive but good food. The funicular is just 2 blocks at the end of the street. There is an atm in the same block at the Bella Vista square. The Bella Vista square is amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Things are not in order. The curtain could no be used. There is no soap in the soap dispensers. The safe doesnt work. Thremos a fine terrase and a kirchen.

The staff is okay – friendly - they gave us some basic tips for our stay. Our private room was spacious, clean, and had a good bathroom with strong water pressure. No towels provided. The facilities are solid – the A/C works fine, the kitchen is well-equipped, but wifi doesn't work well in the rooms. The terrace is a nice spot to relax. Situated on a lively street with bars and restaurants, Guanako is steps away, and yet quiet a decent night's sleep. Not the best for solo travelers.
