OVERVIEW
Nearly for twenty years, Hostel ELF is a perfect base for young travelers seeking for fun, adventures, nightlife, art and history in hundred-spired Prague. You will enjoy vibrant atmosphere in a unique hostel setting full of Instagram-worthy graffiti and modern artworks. LOCATION
The hostel is located 20min walk from the Prague Old Town in Žižkov, a district full of bars, pubs, cafes, galleries and restaurants serving traditional goulash or pork knuckle. Really spacious rooms and comfy beds. The lockers are all a good size. The showers and toilets were also super clean. The kitchen was very well equipped so we could cook breakfast every morning. The outdoor terraced area is so nice to relax on and is a great social space too. The hostel felt really safe and well organised, also with an Aldi just up the road for cheap groceries. The location was also great, it’s a 20 minute walk to the astronomical clock in Prague old town square and the walk also felt safe

Really loved the hostel, rooms are pretty much spot on, location is right next to the bus station and a 15 minute walk from old town. Outdoor area was great for meeting people and just chilling out. Fully recommend to anyone staying in Prague. Only negative is they only give out one key card per group.

Hostel ELF says

We've run this hostel for 12 years so I think we're still one of the 'real' backpackers' hostels, not just a hotel-style place made to look like a hostel. Eighty percent of the beds in our hostel are in dorms. Our hostel is also a small gallery, full of unique underground art by young Czech artists. Each spacious room has original decor. Along with our free breakfast, in the summer we offer free BBQs three times a week; in the winter we do free dinners and pasta night. We also sell cheap beer (70 cents for 0.5L) and we offer free tea and coffee all day long. It's ideal for real backpackers travelling around the world. I recommend that people visit the Palac Akropolis. It's known as a centre of cultural events in the area.
