The relatively new Hostel One Paralelo opened in 2011 and has received very high ratings from our reviewers ever since. Our guests say the ‘cool, friendly and family-like vibe is set by the owner himself’, with attentive, friendly staff and clean, new and comfortable beds. It’s located near Paral•lel metro station, ‘super close and convenient to the centre of Barcelona’, within walking distance of Plaça d’Espanya, La Rambla, Plaça Reial and more. We like their free nightly dinners, made by the staff and designed to create a communal family atmosphere.

If you still need more convincing, Onefam Paralelo is conveniently located walking distance to many of the main sights of Barcelona, such as La Rambla, Placa d'Espanya, Montjuic & the waterfront. We are also next to the super efficient metro of Barcelona, so it really is the perfect place to call home whilst you explore our beautiful city.

. No curfew, so you can come and go 24 hours per day as you please.
We are currently following all procedural advice from local governments and taking every necessary measure to ensure your safety, comfort and happiness.
. We are up to speed with local government guidelines, advice from WHO and the CDC.
. Deep cleaning throughout our hostels has been increased.
. We offer sanitization in all common areas and public spaces.
CANCELLATION POLICY
This property has a 2 day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Non-refundable rates: If your booking is non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your booking, or in the case of a no-show, you will still be charged the full cost of your booking.

The stay was amazing, the staff super friendly and they have all kind of activities, free dinner, sangria etc.... its definitely a great place to stay in Barcelona.

I was only able to stay for one night but wish i could have booked a week. the atmosphere is completely contagious and the staff treats you like long time friends. They bring the residents together better than any other hostel crew I've known. Eoyn was the best & hooked me up with coffee and the best hospitality. Free dinner cooked by the lovely staff was to die for. Easily the best hostel i've stayed in and I'd come back to Barcelona just for this place.

Onefam Paralelo by Hostel One says
What makes us special is that our place is like a house. We're usually able to remember everybody's name. We help our guests plan their days here in Barcelona from their point of view - for instance, we'd send an architect on a 'modern architectural route' - whatever you need, we try to make it happen...to a certain point, anyway.
Personally, I like to send people to a very unusual but definitely local place - an anti-bomb hangar very close to our hostel, only visitable on weekends; also San Antonio market, where the locals go shopping. We've got the best horchata place behind us, the oldest 'bodega' in town is around the corner and the oldest bar around, called Mersella, is just 500m from us.
Our perfect guest is a solo traveller or a couple of friends, but of course everybody has a good time down here. In the morning we have a free walking tour; we offer several different attractions like renting a longboard or rollerblades and in the evening we usually have a PPA - personal party assistant - coming around to show you some local parties.
