Our clean dorms, multiple common areas & passionate entertainments staff gives Mad Monkey Bayswater Backpackers that perfect atmosphere. We are located just off the famous Golden Mile in Kings Cross allowing easy access to the best clubs, restaurants & tourist attractions; but not to worry we are a street back from all the late night noise. And only a 2 minute walk to the train station & bus stops which will take you straight to the CBD & the beautiful beaches of Sydney.
Reception open 8am-8pm - please call beforehand if you check in after these hours!
Check out before 10am and check in after 2pm
NOTE: 18 to 35 year old travellers only so a valid passport or Photo ID is needed.

Great value especially in Sydney! Clean place to stay, no air conditioning but the ceiling fans really helped. Would stay here again!

Had an amazing time here. Best rooftop hostel in Kings Cross. Staff were great, always willing to help. Love the pool table downstairs too.

My friend and I were staying at the 12 Bed Female Dorm Ensuite, and when we got there, it seemed like the other 10 guests had been staying there for a while. There was clothing and things spread all over the floors, and we were not given any specific bed at the reception, so finding the available beds was not easy. It did also not seem like the bathroom had been cleaned for a long time, so I would say that the overall cleanliness was pretty bad.
