I really enjoyed my stay. Fellow guests were friendly, I loved the bar and I felt welcome. The staff didn't help much, but they seemed busy with a lot so maybe more people were needed. It is a great part of town. The boulangerie across the road is extra good. I like the area and Lille is worth a visit. Very beautiful. Also, the beds are comfortable and people are pretty good about not disturbing others. Good value

The highlight for me was the location + the beds, which were amazing. They each had their own curtain + shelf, smaller locker, and charger. There are also generously sized lockers in each room. The hostel ambiance was great and there were lots of people - local too - around because of the bar, but there weren't facilitated opportunities to meet people (while I was there), so it was harder for me to meet people as someone more introverted. The location is right in Vieux Lille and a great area.
