You can find the MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West in the neighborhood of Sloterdijk which is part of the larger Westpoort district. Our hotel is conveniently located close to the Sloterdijk train station. From there, it is only one train stop to reach the Central Station and 10 minutes to Schiphol airport. Everything is at the tip of your fingers.

This a mix of hostel/hotel, so the atmosphere is quite difficult to meet someone. I suggest that if you go with friends, this is the option.
It is not in the centre of Amsterdam but you have a 3 minute walk train station that can take you directly to the centre. And it is just one stop.
The facilities are pretty nice, I stayed both dorm and private room, and really clean and space ful.
And even the breakfast can be a little expensive compared to other hostal I think it worth it because it is like a small

The “hostel” part of this is in the hotel. Very cool idea, means that facilities and rooms and kept pretty clean. No issues with cleanliness in room or facilities. Staff super helpful. Location is great during the day, but challenging if staying out late at night and trains close. 5min train ride to central station or €30 bolt to get back here after hours.
