The Antares Hostel is perfect for anyone looking for comfort on a budget. It’s clean, cosy and has all the modern conveniences a traveller could need. This includes full kitchen facilities, free and fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of computers for those who don’t have their own. The property is also well known for its friendly staff. Situated right in the middle of Nice, it’s near both the beach and the old town, making it the perfect base to see the city from. It’s right opposite the train station too, so no danger of getting lost on the way!

Awarded the Hoscar for the most popular hostel in Nice in 2016, Antares Hostel is perfectly located in the city center, right across the street from the main train station (Gare de Nice Ville) and 10min walk to the beach. This makes it very easy for you to find us, to visit Nice and to travel to the surrounding famous cities, as Cannes and Monaco. The express tram T 2 to the airport stops in city center 10mn walk from the hostel, so you can also catch your flight without worrying too much.
For your comfort, all our dorms have air conditioning and private bathroom, cages to keep your luggage locked, bed linen and towels are included and there is a daily cleaning service. We offer access to a fully equipped kitchen and free WI-FI throughout the hostel. If you don’t have your own laptop, there are computers at your disposal as well. There is also a court-yard where you can enjoy your coffee or your meal and socialize with other travelers.
During the summer we organize parties very frequently and we like to offer our guests some French treats.
In order to keep everybody happy and safe, we have few rules that we would like our guests to respect:
Age restriction applied.
* There is an age limit of 40 for the dorms, unless you are with a group or a family. Otherwise, we have the right to cancel you booking.
* The city tax is not included, you will have to pay upon arrival 1 €/per person/per night.
* The check-in starts at 2 PM .
The check-out is until 10AM. The check in starts at: 2 PM
* Curfew from 3AM to 6AM. .
* Non-smoking.
* Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival

Overall a great hostel. Nice to get some breakfast, good location right next to station and not too far from the beach. Nice clean rooms.

The hostels location is fantastic. So very close to the train, tram, bakeries, restaurants, waterfront, supermarketsupermarket and shopping stores. The hostel tries to make the environment one where you want to share with others and the private rooms are comfortable. Their winter room rates are certainly competitive. HOWEVER, their staff are quite unresponsive. It took 30 calls for them to pick up their phone over a week period. And their staff clearly dont seem inclined to assist with anything.

One of our favorite hostels we stayed at. Very social, happy hour with wine and snacks, met awesome people ti hang out . Deck and kitchen makes it bed easy to find people to talk to if you’re traveling alone or with friends. Rooms were cleaned daily, new towel given daily.
