Method of Payment upon the arrival: Cash.

ATM machines
In Mindo there are no ATM machines that work with international cards.
You can bring money with you or another option is to go in a cab from Mindo to a town called San Miguel de los bancos, where there is a time of 20 minutes one way and 20 minutes back, the value of the cab is 12 dollars with waiting; where you can withdraw money from an ATM that works with international cards.
If you have a local bank account in Ecuador you can pay by transfer.
In Cecilia's house we can receive your payments by the TAB payments application with credit card and in the total bill is a value of 5% extra.

I had a great stay at casa Cecilia. The hostel is located in a beautiful garden richt next to a river. They have a lot of feeders for the birds so you are literally sitting between the kolibri’s. There were no personal lockers and the door of the dorm wasn’t locked. However there was always someone watching who goes in and out of the property. Clean rooms. Nice hot shower. Overal a good stay. Would recommend.

Lovely hostel just a couple of minutes from the centre of Mindo, we were able to book tours directly from the hostel. The breakfast (paid extra for) was very good, and the delight of seeing hummingbirds just by breakfast cannot be missed!
