Sleep In Heaven was rated the best in Denmark at the 2010 and 2012 Hoscars. It’s located in the multicultural area of Norrebro, near Assistens cemetery and about 10 minutes’ walk from the metro going to the city centre. Hostelworld guests have said this lively hostel is surrounded by ‘second-hand stores and alternative bars’. They’ve described the staff as ‘warm, friendly and informative’. This large hostel features an outdoor terrace, bar, pool tables and keycard security.

Sleep In Heaven Hostel is one of the first hostels in Copenhagen. We have been welcoming young and happy travellers from all over the world since 1999, and we have always prioritized to create an atmosphere that encourages travellers on a budget to have fun, socialize and relax.
We are a youth hostel, with an age limit of 16-35 in dormitories. We love it when backpackers come together, share their experiences and make new friends. Our rooms and facilities are well kept, modern and homely and our cosy common area, café, bar and courtyard are highly appreciated among our guests.
We do our best to make your stay as comfortable, secure and easy as possible and our top rated team is always ready to assist you!
Please note:
Age restriction in dorms: 16 - 35.
Age restriction in private rooms: 16 - 59
Valid phone number should be added when making a reservation.
No kitchen facilities, but you are welcome to bring along your own food inside the hostel. Our team will be happy to provide you with plates & cutlery and recommend good and cheap takeaways around the neighborhood if needed.
Since we have a caffe / bar, your own alcohol is not allowed inside the hostel.
Bookings for more than 7 people are not accepted and will be cancelled (without a refund of the deposit and the booking fee).
Maximum booking lenght is 7 nights. Maximun stay is 14 nights.
We have a two-day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the balance of the total stay.

Very clean and the dorms are well laid out. Was in a ten bed dorm and it didn't feel like it. The lockers that open with your key card was a cool feature. Also a great place to socialise with there being a bar there and a snooker table etc

This property is good if you just want a bed for the night. The beds were basically touching the ground with very thin mattresses, no curtain or any privacy and you had to make the bed yourself. Some beds are in a two story room where the steps are extremely steep and not the easiest to climb especially to get your luggage up and down. Had a large common room, but no real atmosphere

Creo que nuestro hostal es ideal para mochileros y estudiantes, tanto para los que viajan solos como en grupos pequeños, y que quieran experimentar la cultura única de Copenhague y, en especial, el ambiente y la expansión urbana de Nørrebro, el barrio de moda.
En nuestro hostal nos gusta pasarlo bien, ya sea para socializarse en nuestra enorme zona chill-out o para relajarse en nuestro jardín iluminado con velas. También hay futbolín, billar y otros juegos, y si quieres salir de bares y discotecas ofrecemos descuentos a nuestros huéspedes o entradas gratuitas a algunos locales.
Sin embargo, nuestra ubicación es lo que nos hace únicos. Al lado de nuestro hostal está Jægersborgade (para encontrar los mejores cafés, tiendas y restaurantes), y el cementerio de Assistens Kirkegård (donde están enterrados Hans Christian Andersen y Soren Kierkegaard), además del Blågårdsgade Sankt Hans Torv (lleno de pequeños cafés y bares) y el Rust y Stengade 30 (para las discotecas) y Ravnsborggade, si quieres compra cosas de segunda mano. De hecho, nuestro equipo son jóvenes estudiantes que estarán encantados de darte sus mejores consejos sobre Copenhague!
