It was ok for a single night, but I wouldn't recommend staying for a longer time. Our room was ok, but some of the others seemed bad.

This was my first time staying in a hostel. I stayed just for one night, but it was quite nice!! The ensuite bathroom (bathroom inside the dorm room) was a bit messy, but very tolerable. I mean a bit messy as in the floor was a bit wet from people who would use the shower and they were also staying in the mixed dorm room I stayed in. The facilities were great, I liked the kitchen the tables and everything. It was nice meeting some other travelers and the reception was helpful and kind!

Barcelona Pere Tarres Youth Hostel says
We're open to everyone who feels young - it's not a question of age. For fun around here our guests like to enjoy the good weather on the terrace and meet people of other nationalities. There's also a nightclub in front of the hostel. The nearest attractions would be Barcelona Football Club station and the University of Barcelona, and the night bus stops outside the hostel all night. We like to advise guests on where to visit according to their tastes and preferences...there are so many things to visit in our city that we've decided that the recommendations need to be 'à la carte'. Speaking of à la carte, we've got a restaurant with the official certificate of the Mediterranean diet and we can make special meals for people with specific diets. We also cater to people with special needs or disabilities; our building is fully adapted, with special dorms available.
