Super friendly staff, extremely good vibes that felt welcoming to people of all ages and from anywhere. What really sets Discovery apart, aside from the included very tasty breakfast, is the air conditioning in the dorms! It's super comfortable and easy to sleep. I've stayed at almost every hostel in Rio and having AC where you sleep is extremely rare, that made all the difference and allowed me to wake up each day refreshed and ready. lovely hostel, good vibes and fun people. Went here twice in 4 weeks, always people to talk to and helpful staff. The location is great and the inside garden/ patio is great to socialize. It can be a little noisy but its fun and quiet after 11/12.
