Adagio Hostel 2.0 Basilica

The location is perfect however one of the main reasons I wanted to stay here was because the dorms were supposed to offer curtains for more privacy within the bedrooms. None of the beds had curtains even though there were rails for it. Like I said the location is good but it was a nightmare trying to find the entrance as there are no signal at all to the hostel. I had to call receptionist as I was completely lost. The beds inside the dorms aren’t comfortable at all, they are very thin and not that clean. However if you are staying for a day or two you can live with it but anything longer would be chaotic. I had to use the sheet covers as a curtain as like I said before curtains are not provided so the hostel information is misleading. One of the cleaners took my self-built curtain and I was still in my bed, no apology whatsoever which I found very rude. They were loud even though you were inside the room. They didn’t care. One of the toilets doors can’t be locked so people can literally open the door on you and it’s embarrassing. It seems like they are trying to change some furniture as the entrance and inside the hostel is completely packed with furniture everywhere and doesn’t look very inviting. I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately not the best I had.

The location and price of this hostel are great, but we had many problems staying here. In most showers there is no hot water. The room I stayed in smelled very strongly of feet and body odor. We found out this was because one or two people had been living there for weeks and not leaving their beds during the day. Food had built up and the smell went all the way to the hall. The staff was nice enough to find us other beds after the first night, but that person/people are still there.

Really nice place, great location and installations. Beds blanquets aren't the best but it is comfy. Kitchen is nice and the staff was great.
