Not really worth the money we paid. Location was decent and the hostel was clean enough but the kitchen was really lacking in equipment (couldn’t even find a chopping board) and the rooms were also really badly equipped - no shelves and no reading lights. The atmosphere was quite dead - way more fun at Yellowsquare’s hostel bar literally on the next street

Hostel was a bit pricey (however all hostels in Rome are more expensive than other cities) - staff were great and made the effort to move me rooms when I had trouble sleeping. The bar is a great place to socialise I just wish it was open later than 1am! - overall a great stay and if reccomend if you like a hostel with a mix of ages as opposed to the party hostels nearby aimed at 18-21 year olds. Would definitely stay again!

Alessandro Palace & Bar says

What really puts our hostel ahead of the rest is our facilities...we've got an onsite bar with drinks at reasonable prices, a roof garden, air conditioning in all the rooms, Wi-Fi in all areas of the hostel and a unique Roman style of architecture inside. For fun our guests usually like to meet people and have a drink at our bar. Most of our guests are 20 to 35 years of age-flashpackers who have style when they travel-and we try to take care of all our guests equally. We're in a convenient location near Termini Station, so our guests can get all around the city very quickly. When people ask me where they should visit in Rome, it's hard to decide which one to recommend, but I think I'd have to say the Colosseum.
