Shared dorms don't have a lock on the door and no lockers. Staff not particularly interested in discussing travel plans. Close the beach but keep in mind it's quite far from the old town.

We kept coming back to Hotel Dove Apart... We loved it, Mart was an absolute legend (who we bumped into in Kas, he himself is a well-travelled guy and knows exactly what any traveler wants), who gave us quality advice! The hostel/hotel itself was very comfortable, with a nice pool, walking distance to Calis beach and restaurants and a nearby bus stop. The breakfast buffet is pretty darn good too.
