Sleep Green is the first youth hostel in Barcelona and Catalonia to achieve the EU Ecolabel (Flower-Label) in recognition of its commitment to sustainable tourism and protection of the local environment. At Sleep Green you can find everything the traveler's heart desires:
- unbeatable location: 200 meters to the main square Plaza Catalunya and the main street Las Ramblas
- 24 hrs security and reception
- free lockers
- small dormitories of 4, 5, or 6 beds
- daily cleaning service
- fully-equipped guest kitchen
- a relaxed and cozy atmosphere
- lots of maps and insider tips plus friendly and helpful staff who are always there to make your time in Barcelona memorable!

DIRECTIONS: Look out for the restaurant TGB (The Good Burger) and PAI MEI (Asian restaurant). The entrance to the hostel is in-between these two restaurants. Ring the bell that says Sleep Green Hostel.
AGE RESTRICTION: We only accept guests under the age of 18 if accompanied by an adult or with the parents' authorization. We do not accept guests older than 45. We reserve the right to refuse admission.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation free of charge must be done at least 48 hours before the 'Date' of arrival. If you do not show up for your reservation and do not contact us, we will charge the first two nights of accommodation cost to the credit card.
In case of cancellation on the same day of arrival, on weekends or special events, we will charge the first two nights of your booking.
IMPORTANT: If you do not arrive at the indicated time, and do not inform us about a later arrival your booking will be canceled at midnight.
For the safety of other travelers, we can not accept any traveler with bed bugs bites. Please consider this before proceeding with your booking.
The city tax is not included in the price.
We normally have beds available for walk-ins.

If you’re looking for simple and cheap this is perfect. I needed some down time during my travels and sleep green afforded this for me. Not a party hostel at all, minimal facilities but all you need for a simple break. Staff were so accomodating and lovely while staying. Stayed for about a week and not once had an issue. You have bunks with a locker. The only thing some people may find concerning is that the doors to the rooms do not lock, but the building is secured by 2 security buttons.

had an amazing time here! We felt so lucky to have such lovely woman staying in our room.
bathrooms and showers are great and when they weren’t working one afternoon we were allowed to use a different hostels through the hostel
air con and black out blinds
NOT a party hostel yet we still did and were accommodated for
lockers were good
Not super social - most people stuck to themselves but if you are travelling in a group it is a great option

The bunk beds were very average and the air con did not work. It was too hot to even sleep. The staff were lovely but I would not recommend this hostel. There are better hostels is Barcelona for the same price or less!!
